por suas idéias. Ele sabia, como bom sabedor de tudo o que houve, há e haverá, que haveriam consequências. Onde já se viu falar assim? Certas teorias são tão perigosas que não deveriam ser pensadas. Subvertem a ordem social, inquietam as camadas populares, causam revoluções. Não que as idéias deste sujeito tenham sido entendidas; elas soaram tão estranhas aquelas pessoas, que distorceram a sublimidade daquelas palavras em algo mundano, facilmente praticável por elas mesmas.
Eu ajudei a matar aquele homem. Mentira. Mas a minha culpa está em sentir que ajudaria, caso fosse eu um daqueles ouvintes milagreiros. Se não fiz, faria, e, para este homem, a intenção sincera valia mais que todas as ações hipócritas que lhe dirigiram. Multidão dissimulada, entou entre vós!
Também entendia ele dos corações daquela gente, e via a dureza de seus sentimentos. Não esmoreceu; caminhou entre eles a viver com fé tamanha que virou pop star, e fez-se entender entre alguns destes, seu legado de esperança a ser espalhado por tantos ventos quanto existiam.
Sua morte não foi seu grande feito, por mais que se faça menção a ela toda vez que seu nome seja respeitosamente tocado. Sua glória esta no mesmo lugar que sua coragem, em seu audacioso neologismo: Amor.
As vezes paro pra pensar nas guerras santas, nos rios ensanguentados de ouro e prestígio que se movimentam com este nome, na bengala ridícula que se tornaram seus ensinamentos, garantindo a ordem (que certa vez abalaram) e permitindo aos seus "seguidores" a indiferença, na certeza da absolvição por meio de rituais. É doloroso admitir que entre estes eu continuo, mas tenho a esperança de me livrar desses grilhões de apatia e ilusão, e sei que um dia (maravilhoso dia!) serei livre, liberto por meus próprios passos que andarão onde me aprouver, cientes da minha individualidade sagrada e especial.
